Our goal is to generate a high return (+15% net per year over a multi-year period), independent of fluctuations in financial markets. The team

Leo Lueb
Risk & Operations Management / Partner
After completing his studies, he served amongst others, as CIO (Chief Investment Officer) at PGGM and as a Portfolio Construction Strategist at Bridgewater Associates - the world’s largest hedge fund. That experience taught him that while financial markets are undoubtedly complex, traditional asset managers still make too little use of the broad range of investment opportunities available in today’s markets.
Eric van Kleef
Relationship Management / Partner

He was, among other roles, a Partner at Optimix Vermogensbeheer NV in Amsterdam. There, he experienced firsthand that standard solutions do not always deliver the best results. For Eric, thinking in terms of opportunities and possibilities is key. This mindset played a major role in his enthusiasm and initiative to co-found GoRef.

Roelof Steenstra
Portfolio Management / Partner

After completing his studies (Nyenrode, London School of Economics & Politics), he worked at EBRD in private equity (Russia), IG Markets (London), Wegelin & Co Private Bank (Geneva), and Notenstein Private Bank (Geneva) as a wealth manager for ultra-high-net-worth international investors. That experience, combined with an in-depth study of the unique investment concepts of thinkers such as George Soros, forms the foundation of GoRef’s investment strategy.

Your partner in financial growth

For us, it’s all about generating returns. Our target is an average net return of 15% per year over a multi-year period (with an actual track record of over +22,3% net annually since 2019). To achieve this, we have developed our own macro trend strategy, which guides all investment decisions within the GoRef Fund. We combine this with clear communication and reporting, so you stay informed about both the fund’s performance and developments within the portfolio.
